Hello, friends! I'm the Girl in the Silk Scarf Mask and my traveling partners are J, the sun-loving screenwriter, and Anya, the sleepy toy-poodle with a mohawk. We took a few group photos - think we nailed it!
Together, we're embarking from New York to Tulum for a month-long staycation abroad. The catch?!? It's during COVID. Air travel (and doing much of anything) is high risk and according to the CDC (and friends and family), strongly discouraged. However, after 8 months in my tiny New York studio apartment and COVID cases spiking in the city, what better place and time to escape to then the remote beaches of Mexico. Oh, I love the sound of elbow room.
This journey's unlike anything I've ever planned. Everything's mostly pre-planned to reduce risk, stay safe, and keep others safe while traveling. Come along with us and we'll share the crazy stories, awesome times, and lessons learned along the way.
